1984: Dave Kroha and Sam Katz launched Katz & Kroha Advertising
Dave Kroha and Sam Katz launched Katz & Kroha Advertising, a full-service agency that specialized in Direct Response Marketing. Clients included: IDG Communications; Personal Computing; The American Red Cross - Middletown Chapter; Prentice Hall; Business & Legal Reports; GMH Marketing; United Cable Television; Xerox Educational Publications.
1987: Kroha Associates, Inc. launched in Middletown
Dave Kroha left Katz & Kroha to launch Kroha Associates, Inc. - an advertising and design firm offering expanded service options that included full product branding and product development. Clients included: Atlas Editions; Field Publications; “Disney Books By Mail” Disney Direct; The American Heart Association, CT Chapter; RR Donnelley; Trout Unlimited; Cox Communications; Oxford Health Care, and more.
2002: Kroha Associates changed name to Kroha Direct
Kroha Associates, Inc. changed its name to “Kroha Direct” to better reflect the agency’s strengths in creating winning direct response communications. New clients included CIGNA Health Care, Cox Communications, Petruzelo Insurance, Truebro, Syn-Mar Products, Oxford HealthCare, Optimum TV of Cleveland, and NUMA Publishing.
2005 Kroha Direct rebrands as Arrowhead Direct
Looking to establish a more full-service direct mail enterprise, Kroha Direct rebrandeed as Arrowhead Direct. Positioned as the creative arm of The Arrowhead Group, Arrowhead Direct continued offering the service Kroha Direct was noted for, but through an moniker that reflected a unified connection among the Arrowhead Group operating partners.
2007: Arrowhead Direct becomes iiCREATiVE, Inc.
Arrowhead Direct expanded its digital technology and web development capabilities, ended its Arrowhead affiliation, and changed its name to iiCREATiVE, Inc. This rebrandin was initiated to help promote the agency’s digital communications capabilities. Clients looking to iiCREATiVE for an improved communications solution included: CIBA; Westerbeke; New England Trade Adjustment Assistance Center; St. Francis HealthCare Partners; MTA Benefits; Tunxis Plantation.
2016: iiCREATiVE goes back to its “roots” as Kroha Direct
With a goal of being able to remain competitive with today’s “virtual office” agencies, iiCREATiVE decided to eliminate the cost of maintaining a commercial footprint. Moving to a small studio in Cromwell, office-support resources were redirected toward developing connections with creative and technical alliances around the country—and even around the world.
Recognizing value in our time-forged pedigree, we changed our brand back to Kroha Direct—a name long associated with marketing experience, innovative thinking, and targeted strategy advantages.
